Before and Aftercare
Eyebrows
Preparing for your appointment
— It is very important to refrain from all alcohol, aspirin or aspirin-like products, blood thinners, Ibuprofen, and naproxen for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment for any PMU procedure. Also, refrain from Vitamin E and fish oil capsules for 7 days prior to your application. Excessive bleeding during the procedure will negatively affect the longevity of your semi-permanent makeup application. In some cases, the application will need to be prematurely stopped.
— Please avoid energy drinks containing caffeine and coffee for at least 24 hours before your appointment. Not having caffeine in your system will help you relax and ease the facial muscles in the areas we will work on.
After your appointment
— Before cleaning your eyebrows, your hands must be washed with antibacterial soap.
— While healing, do not use any Retin-A, Glycolic Acids, Peroxide, Neosporin, or other products other than the Phigment Ointment that was provided for you.
— Do not scrub or pick your eyebrows.
— Normal to dry skin: For the first day, cleanse every 2 hours with a mild soap and lukewarm water, pat dry, and apply the provided ointment.
— Do not expose the area to sun or tanning beds! Please wear a hat if you are in the sun.
— For seven days, avoid any beauty treatments such as facials, massages, lash extensions, swimming, whirlpools, or saunas.
— Avoid exercise with heavy sweating for the first 1-3 days.
— Do not allow heavy water pressure on your eyebrows for ten days.
— No eyebrow waxing or threading for seven days. Tweezers can be used around the shape.
— Must avoid makeup on and around the brow area for 7-10 days.
— Do not apply the ointment with dirty fingers; please use Q-Tips. Do not “double dip” the Q-Tip. Dispose of it after each use. Wash hands thoroughly before applying Phigment Ointment. Additional Phigment Ointment can be purchased for $10.00.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN LOSS OF PIGMENTS.
All results will vary per person depending on their skin type, lifestyle, existing hair, bone structure, and aftercare. We do not offer refunds on any service.
Royal Whitening
Preparing for your appointment
— Please eat, brush, and floss an hour before your appointment. You will need to wait 2 hours after whitening to eat.
— Please drink as much water as possible 24 hours before your teeth whitening appointment.
— Use the restroom before your arrival. You could be seated for over an hour.
— If you are nervous about sensitivity, you should take an ibuprofen or acetaminophen before your appointment.
After your appointment
— Hydrate: Whitening dehydrates the teeth. Be sure to drink extra water for 24 hours following your appointment.
— Use the Desensitizing Gel as instructed and as needed to prevent tooth sensitivity.
— Avoid extremely hot or cold liquids. These change the temperature of your teeth. The temperature change (hot and cold cycling) causes the teeth to expand and contract, allowing stains to penetrate and causing unnecessary sensitivity. Drinking through a straw to reduce the amount of contact with your teeth can help with this. Stick with room-temperature liquids.
— Avoid acidic foods and drinks: Acidic foods and beverages open the pores of the tooth enamel, allowing stains to penetrate teeth easily. Use a straw to help eliminate contact with your teeth while drinking acidic beverages.
— Cut back on drinking & smoking: Consuming alcoholic beverages & smoking can affect the results of teeth whitening. Alcoholic beverages may contain tannins that can stain the teeth, along with nicotine in tobacco. If you can’t stop completely, try to do it in moderation or less frequently.
— Use smudge-proof lipstick: Regular lipstick CAN stain teeth. Use smudge-proof lipstick to keep from getting on your teeth.
